In the next A4I.tv video explaining terminologies and rigging best practices, Siobhan Colleen focuses on ‘Send It’ baskets – an expression used to describe the procedure of sending objects to the upper rigger.
As ever, Siobhan emphasises the need to put safety first and outlines the dangers of tying the rope to the incorrect part of the basket. Practicing your bowline tying skills will also come in handy as some situations call for a 3 foot (1m) bowline, others a shorter rope, and in exceptional circumstances, a Dragon Bowline. If in doubt, ask the upper rigger!
“Please Rig Super Safe,” emphasises Siobhan, advice which could well sum up the entire collection of videos available on
A4I.tv.
